Sydney, September 16. At the Intercolonial Cycling Meeting, the principal results were : —
Half-mile Race: Meagher, of Sydney, Ist. Time, lm. 10 2-sth s. With the exception of Wilraot, who was third in his heat, the other New Zealanders were unplaced.
The Mile Amateur Championship was won by Kerr, Sydney, who put up a new grass record in 2m. 355.
Five Mile Intercolonial Race: Hayward, of New Zealand, 1 ; Nicklin, of Queensland, 2: Kerr, of Sydney, 3. In • the last lap, Hodgkinson, of Sydney, fell, bringing down Hall, Pither, and Wilmot, all of New Zealand, but none of them were hurt. Hayward fortunately escaped, and emerging from the mass of men and machines, won by five yards after a splendid contest. Time, 14m. 12 l-sth s.
The Three Mile Race was won by Isles, of Brisbane, in Bm, 9 2-sth s.
