The Chief Masters in each department undertake the work of the highest forms on both sides of the ; School. The Girls' School is on the South side of the building, and they enjoy the use of the two lawn tenuis courts. FEES.—These are: For Pupil in the Lower School, it under the age of thirteen years, £2 Ids per term ; for all others, £3 ltls per term, exceptthat for two members of one family, both chargeable with tho bifiher fee, it is reduced to £.i 3s each. All fees are payable in advance to tho Treasurer, who attends at the school to collect them on the first Tuesday and the following Monday in each term. COURSE OK INSTRUCTION. — The ordinary course comprises the usual English subjects — Mathematics (including Arithmetic). Writing. Drawing, LUin, French, German and Natural Science. Greek will be introduced should a sufficient demand arise. The study of Latin is optional. Hook-keeping and Mensuration are amongst the alternative subjects for boys. Pupils : who have commenced with the ordinary course niav, at the beginning of any term, substitute the alternative subjects for Latin. Drill and Gymnastic Exercises are compulsory for all not specially exempted. Class-singing is taught to those of the girls whose parents desire it. Arrangements can be made for lessons in Music outside the school hours. WORKSHOP.—lnstruction and practice is given in Carpentering, Joinery, and Turning, by Mr. Trevithick |in the School Workshop. The classes meet in the luncheon hour, and after afternoon school. Subscription, 7s Cd for each term, not including cost of timber used.
