London, September 12. In the discussion on the Cordite Scandal in the House of Commons, Mr. Hanbury, Conservative member for Preston, demanded that the Crown should prosecute Sir F. Abel and Professor Dewar.

The Secretary of War replied that while the War Office rules had not been broken in the matter, he was-obtaining the decision of the law officers on the whole question.
