ENDOWMENT AND EDUCATION RESERVES BILL.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, Tuesday. The School Commissioners discussed the Endowment and Education Reserves Bill, and passed a resolution, That in their opinion the operations of the Bill if passed would not bo conducive to tho interests of trusts, and would result in the serious diminution of revenue at present applicable to the support of primary and secondary education." A statement prepared shows that the Commissioners hold .'lB3, acres, the revenue from which yearly is £15,998 14s 9d. There are 224 tenants of town lands, 587 of rural lands, and 17 of pastoral lands.
