At the Supremo Court to-day the Crown Prosecutor entered a nolle prosequi against Captain Baldwin, who stood committed on a charge of arson on a coroner's warrant. Ib was explained that the Resident Magistrate had dismissed tho ca?e, and there was no fresh evidence. Captain Baldwin, however, demanded a jury, and one was accordingly empannellod, and formally acquitted hiui of tho charge. ______________
