London, August 3. The Daily Chronicle says that an Autumn session is doomed. The Government hesitate to enforce the closure upon Supply, and the Conservatives have arranged to obstruct until October.
A committee of the House of Commons is inquiring into a squabble which took place in the dining-room attached to Parliament Buildings, between Messrs. W. O'Brien and J. Chamberlain.
