The Queen's Birthday will be officially celebrated in London on Saturday, June 3. The necessity for this is owing to the fact thab on the evening of the day on which the birthday is kept officially in London the Ministers and Great Officers give full-dress banquets to celebrate the anniversary, and these functions could nob take place in the middle of the Whitsuntide recess.
