SOME FACTS ABOUT IT. I. The Auckland Weekly News is the best weekly newspaper in New Zealand. 11. The Auckland Weekly News has the largest circulation oi any weekly printed in the colony. 111. The Auckland Weekly News has subscribers in every part of New Zealand, in Australia, in the islands of the South Pacific, and throughout America and England. IV. The Auckland Weekly News, in consequence of its extensive and world-wide circulation among all sections of the public, has no rival among its colonial contemporaries as an advertising medium. V. The Auckland Weekly News aims at being first and foremost a colonist's journal, nd endeavours to combine all the features of a general newspaper with the characteristics of a well-informed and interesting mag* zine. VI. The Auckland Weekly News has a large stall of country correspondents who regularly supply it with all the news of their respective districts, while special reports oi all events of sufficient importance are provided. VII. The Auckland Weekly News devotes great attention to agricultural pursuits, and to all questions connected with the farm; and field, and which are likely to provr interesting and useful to settlers in their practical every-day work; -while it is a recognised authority on all out-door amusements, racing, athletics, aquatics, etc. VIII. The Auckland Weekly News publishes from time to time contributions from some of the most prominent colonial writers of the day, and special articles by members of its own staff descriptive of the progress of settlement and public works, the development of the mineral and other natural resources of the colony, and th marvellous scenic sights of New Zealand. IX. The Auckland Weekly News is an illustrated family newspaper, and contains serial stories by leading authors in the world of fiction, a column devoted to the amusement or instruction of the young, games of chess and draughts, the gossip of the city and the stage, all that is new or interesting in art, literature, science, medicine, fashions, and society; together with a largo variety of general reading, and a sermon by a leading preacher of the day. X. The Auckland Weekly News, in addition to the special features already enumerated, contains each week a careful compilation of the news of Europe and America received by electric cable; the political, social, and general news of Australasia; letters dealing with the affairs of the day from correspondents in various parts of the world ; answers to inquiries on a very wide range of subjects; and leading articles on the topics of the hour. It is printed and folded by specially-imported machinery of the newest and most approved type, and is acknowledged to be the most popular weekly newspaper published in New Zealand.
