J 26 McLeod ...' 25 Gregory scored two, while Gif Fen, Turner, Trumble, and Blackham did not score. The extras were 4. The bowling analysis was : — Briggs, four for 48; Lockwood, four for 45; Attewell, two for 37. In their second innings the Australians made 173. IS Oiffen, o McGregor b Lockwood 1 Trott, c Stodilart b Attewoll 11 Graham, c McGregor b Lockwood ... 12 Turner, c McGregor b Lockwood 22 McLeod, b Briggs 24 Couingham, c McGregor b Peel 29 Gregory, c Shrewsbury b Peel ... ... 15 Trumble, not out 7 Blackham, run out 8 Lockwood took five wickets for 81, and Peel two for 7. Tho total seme of Lord Sheffield's team in their first innings was 258, not 257, and they now have 54 to make to win.
