At yesterday's meeting of the Auckland City Council Mr. Farroll moved the suspension of the Standing Orders to move, " That this Council cancel and determine the license issued to the proprietors of the Zealandia Rink, the premises having been used contrary to the provisions endorsed on the said license, viz., sparring, boxing, and pugilistic exhibitions are not permissible under this license." Mr. Swales said he would second the motion. Mr. Garratt said he should object. The Mayor said nothing then could be done. Mr. Farroll thereupon gave notice of motion.
