[by. TELEQRAPE..— own CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Friday. It was decided in Cabinet yesterday thab the Hon. Mr. Seddon, on the occasion of his visit to Christchurch next week, should inquire into the state of the unemployed in that city. The Government have determined to push oa tho road works ab the Bealey and fcho Otira Gorge, also ab Kelly's Creek. In these works employment will be found for 50 men. ■—— " ' i " »
