New Zealand Herald Office, Friday evening. The Customs duties to-day amounted to £818 12s Bd.
Messrs. Samuel Vaile and Sous' land sale rooms were well filled to-day, when fair bidding resulted for most of the properties offered. A building allotment in Sentinel Road, Ponsonby, about three-quarters of an acre, was sold for £14;"); and a property at Lake Takapuna was knocked down to the mortgagee's bid of £1100. Tho bidding for the other lots nob reaching the reserves, they were passed in.
