DUNEDIN DATS. Dunijdin, January 4.—A steady demand exists, ind there was no difficulty in placing the few that came forward at late quotations. The market is comparatively bare of stocks. Prices may not further rise, but with the present demand, all on hand will be placed before the new are available. Prime feed and milling, Is lOd to Is lid; medium to good, Is 9d to Is 9£d ; inferior to medium, Is 8d to Is 9d (ex store, sacks extra net).
JOHNSONVILLE Messrs. Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Stock Report (by telegraph on Wednesday).—Fat cattle, in usual numbers, sold steadily throughont at 20s the 1001b. Sheep in short supply, maintained late rates. No pigs to hand.
