SCANDAL IN CONNECTION WITH ; THE GUELPH FUND. SERIOUS INSINUATIONS. Press Association.—Eleetrie Telegraph.—Copyright Berlin, January 2. A cheat sensation lias been' caused in Germany by the publication of a statement alleging that a million and threequarter marks of the Guelph fund have been distributed among Ministers, newspapers, and leading officials. The statement, however, lacks confirmation. Herr Rebel, Socialist leader, declares that he possesses proof of Guelph bribery, and that one hundred thousand marks were distributed during the time Prince Bismarck was in office. Many documents, he alleged, were burnt, but some were left. Many intimate friends of Prince Ludwig of Bavaria' are said to be implicated.
