FIRE AT WELLINGTON.

fBY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION. J Wellington, Monday. A seven-roomed house in Austin-street, owned by J. Miles, contractor, and occupied by Meix Fleiss, a commercial traveller, was destroyed by fire at six o'clock last night. There had been no fire since midday. The outbreak was noticed ten minutes after the occupants had left for the post office. Insurance, buildings, unknown ; furniture, £450 in the North Quoenslaud. £100 worth of samples belonging to La.nge, Thoneman, and Co, Melbourne, were.burnt.
