Brussels, November 23. M. Levi, President of the Monetary Conference, said it was decided to create a more general employment of silver, in order to secure monetary stability. Despite the increased output of gold in Australia, the market was in a seriout condition.
M. Biernart said the Latin Union was helping, by steady exchange, to serve as a starting point for wider
agreement.
