CRICKET.
AUCKLAND UNITED V. AUCKLAND. This match was resumed on Wednesday afternoon at five o'clock, Auckland, with four wickets down for 14, continuing their innings. When time was called, at six o'clock, four more wickets had fallen for an addition of 33 runs, making the whole 47 for eight wickets. Auckland now requires 92 runs to win, with two wickets to fall. The ground was very soft, and in poor condition for batting. Webster showed the best batting form tor Auckland, while Miller bowled with great effect for United, and was well supported by Hawkins.
