The Annual Athletic Sports of the Auckland College and Grammar School are to take place on Tuesday, Bth November. Great interest is being taken in this meeting, and the programme promises to be unusually attractive. Two new races have been added, one a quarter mile, to be run from scratch, for the Old Boys' Cup, and a 150 yards handicap for a medal presented by Mr, Upton. The entries for all r&ces are unusually large, and, as special arrange-; ments have been made to keep the course clear, the sports . promise "i to be very successful.
