THE UGANDA QUESTION.
Press Association.—Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. London, October 28. Cabinet meetings have begun. Several papers report there is a dissension in the Ministry on the Uganda question. Lord Rosebery is leading the section opposed to the evacuation of the country. The Bishop of Chichester stated that the annual cost of an English protectorate over Uganda would only be £40,000, an amount which lie points is about equal to the cost of a picture or two in the National Gallery.
