To say that a man is working himself to death, says a well-known physician, is to state a physiological untruth. ho man injures himself simply by overwork, but thousands and tens of thousands are the victims of over-worry. It is the scheming to make short cuts to wealth, the fretting and anxiety in regard to the success or failure of our schemes which runs our nervous systems at such high pressure as to cause them to break down, and not legitimate study or legitimate work. Mgr. Stonor has been charged by the Pope to convey His Holiness' congratulations to the Marquis of Ripon on his appointment as Colonial Secretary in the new Ministry.
