The Northern Union Company's steamer, which usually leaves Helensville at 10 p.m. on Mondays, will leave at ten in the morning on Monday next. Passengers intending to proceed by the steamers will require to leave by the 6.55 train on Monday morning. The usual ecclesiastical notices appear in our eighth page. The Ven. Archdeacon Willis will preach in the morning at St. Mary's Cathedral. The third quarterly public catechising of the All Saints' Sundayschool children will take place to-morrow in All Saints' Church, at a quarter-past three p.m. As this service is the outcome of the theory of Sunday -school efficiency propounded by the incumbent at the last uuday-sohool Teachers' Quarterly Conference, it is hoped that all members of the Synod will avail themselves of this opportunity of testing the value of the system. The anniversary series of the Newton Congregational Sunday-school will be held in the Choral Hall to-morrow, when the Rev. J. Berry will preach in the morning, the Rev. C. H. Laws in the afternoon, the Rev. F. C. De wsbury in the evening. The annual soiree on Tuesday. At the Union Free Church evangelistic services conducted by Sisters in charge of Salvation Army Rescue Home. The collection at service will be given to Army Rescue Home work. The Orangemen of Auckland will attend divine service at Wesley Hall tomorrow at three p.m. in regalia. The Rev. F. G. Evans, from Te Aroha, will deliver an address at the Sunday evening service in the City Hall. ~; ; , .;
