Ho has received an invitation from Marton in connection with a presentation bo Mr. J. Stevens, who contested tho Marton seat in the Liberal interest, but it is doubtful whether he can accede to it. Mr. Seddon goes to Melbourne about the middle of next month on private business. Mr. Ballance steadily improves in health. He leaves for Wanganui on Tuesday. Mr. McKenzie is up to-day, and expects to leave for South Palmerston on Friday.
