ATHLETICS.

The annual meeting of the Avondale Cricket Club was held at the Avondale Hotel on Saturday last, Mr. M. Foley, the captain, presiding. It was resolved to make aground on the Avondale Racecourse, funds for that purpose having been raised by means of a concert.
