BUSHRANGING IN VICTORIA. " Melbourne, August 29. A hawker named Gordon was bailed up at Domana, 47 miles south of Melbourne, by two armed men, who tied him to a tree. The bushrangers then freed the horses from the van, and decamped with the cash-box and a quantity of clQthing. THE BROKEN HILL MINES. Sydney, August 29. At Broken Hill, the system of boy* cotting is being openly practised. The unionists are threatening their adversaries, and the population is becoming terrorised.
Wellington, Monday. The Typographical Society has agreed to a proposal that a voluntary contribution of Is per member should be made in aid of the Broken Hill strike fund.
