[by telegraph— CORRESPONDENT. J Cambridge, Monday. Charles Tuck was arrested last night on a warrant; charged with embezzlement of the funds of the Piako County Council. Accused was brought before Mr. Wells, J.P., this morning, and remanded to Auckland. tie was bailed out by Messrs. Haliy and Kerr. He will surrender to his bail tomorrow morning at seven o'clock, and leave for Auckland per mail coach. The amount alleged to have been misappropriated is estimated at £150.
