SHOCKING' FATALITY AT WELLINGTON.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, Monday. A SHOCKING accident occurred as the Tarawera was approaching the wharf. William McDonald, carpenter, 35, stood ready with a fender, but slipped and fell between the wharf and the steamer. His leg* and thighs were badly crushed. He died in the Hospital shortly after.
