There is a large demand for May cargoes of Australian wheat, owing to the higher dues imposed by the French Government on cereals. The present tone of off coast cargoes is strong. The discount companies which receive deposits are refusing interest, owing to money being so plentiful. A cargo of Victorian wheat sold at 35s 6d. Per New Zealand Loan and Mercantile A'jency Co. London, May 13. Tallow. —A rather better demand. Quotations unchanged since last telegram. Frozen Meat.— market dull. New Zealand beef: Fore quarters and hind quarters are worth 3|d and 4d per lb respectively. Quotations nominal. Lamb market weaker. Sides of lamb have declined Jd per lb since last report. Other quotations unchanged since last telegram. _____
