THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.
[BV TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dcnedin, Friday. At the annual meeting of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals the report stated that there was a decrease in the membership. The inspector is of opinion that there is a decrease in cruelty to animals, and there was much less dogfighting, etc. Justice Williams was reelected president, and all the other officers were re-elected.
