THE WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN TEMPERANCE UNION.
[by TELEGRAPH.—OWN' correspondent.] New Plymouth, Friday. Several delegates from the South are now on their way to attend tho annual convention of the Women's Christian Temperance Union, which commences its meeting in Auckland on Monday next, the 21st inst. Mrs. Sheppird, of Christchurch ; Mrs. Richardson, of St. Albans, Christchurch, and Miss Kirk, of Wellington, have journeyed by railway from Wellington to New Plymouth, and intend to proceed by the steamer leaving hero at noon on Saturday for Onehung i.
