LIMITING THE OUTPUT. Press Association.— Telegraph.— London, March 11. The Miners' Federation hope to limit the stoppage of the output to a week. Coal merchants are accused of using the crisis to plunder by outrageously raising prices. The decision of Durham owners to shut down the pits affects a hundred and twenty thousand persons. London, March 13. Three hundred thousand miners ceased work yesterday, and a further hundred thousand will go out next week. It has not been decided how long the strike is to last, but it is believed that the majority of the men will return to work after the first week. Berlin, March 11. The German Miners' Federation advise the members to help the English miners by refusing to execute orders received from England.
