ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Friday. During last month the total number of arrivals in the colony was 1384, and departures 1193, leaving a balance of 191 in favour of the colony. Of the arrivals, 588 came from New South Wales, and 403 from Victoria. The departures for these two colonies were 592 and 323 respectively. Taking the principal ports, 496 persons left via Auckland, 263 Wellington, 85 Dunedin, and 519 Bluff, while of the newcomers, 502 landed at Auckland, 168 at Wellington, 106 at Lyttelton, and 412 at the Bluff. The arrivals and departures of Chinese numbered six and five respectively. •
