TO THE SECRETARY OP THE AUCKLAND CAS COMPANY. In reply to your inquiry I have pleasure in stating that the six-horse-power Otto gas engine which your company supplied to me has exceeded ray expectations, as it has not cost me anything for repairs during the eight years I have had it. Indeed, I have not yet changed the slide. I use it for cutting firewood for my trade, and for the crushing grain- H. S. Caniiam. Symonds-street, Auckland, December 16, 1891.
