FATAL ACCIDENTS.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Napier, Tuesday. Samuel Pinder, a settler ab Oinarunui, was drowned lasb evening while crossing the Tubaekuri River. Pinder was aged 26 and was recently married. The river was in flood, and deceased's companion refused to attempt to swim across, but Pinder was inxious to get home, and made the attempt. His body waß recovered to-day. Invkrcargill, Tuesday. George Fearn, six years, while chasing a lorse yesberday, was kicked on tho head, sustaining a compound fracture of the jkull, and died at tho hospital tit noon toJay. == ______.
