The damage is estimated at £300,000. The fire caused considerable injury to the Midland railway station, and the permanent way of the North-western line. An immense fire is raging at Seth Taylor's flour mills in Tooley-street. Five blocks and eight floors have already been destroyed. , While making for the scene of tha fire, several firemen narrowly escaped being drowned in the Thames.
