[Br TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchltrch, Thursday. The annual meeting of tho Society of Arts was held this afternoon. The report stated that the Society numbers 124 ordinary and 83 working members, a total of 207, against 142 last year The receipts from the exhibition wore £758. There is a balance of £'2»5 in hand. The balance of assets over liabilities is £2736. Mr. Richmond Beetham was re-elected president, and Captain Garaia treasurer.
