MEETING OF FOOTBALL DELEGATES.
FORMATION OF A NEW ZEAL ASSOCIATION. [BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. At a meeting: of delegates representing the Association Football Clubs of Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago, it was xesolvea to form an association, to be known as the Mew Zealand Football Association. Messrs. Leslie (Otago) and Henderson (Wellington) were appointed a committee to draft rules. The • immediate cause of : s the formation of the Association is the presentation of • a silver shield for competitionhy Mr. Brown, whisky merchant, of . Glasgow. The committee of the Charitable Aid Board held its usual meeting yesterday. There were about 17 cases before the com- , mittee, none of them of any special interest.
