WELLINGTON NEWS NOTES.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Thursday. MINISTERIAL MOVEMENTS. Thf, Premier is expected to return to Wellington by to-morrow night's train. The Minister of Public Works will proceed to Nelson and the West Coast next week. The Minister of Lands is not expected to return to Wellington for three weeks. OHRISTOHDROH ELECTION. It is said that Mr. Eden George regards the« action taken by the Government as "ultra vires." It is stated that if nob elected he will petition th® House next session against tho illegality of tho election. THE REPRESENTATION COMMISSION. The commissioners are still sitting in the Parliament Buildings. They kro extremely reticent as to the result of their deliberations, and will give no information to ; the press. It is stated that they will conclude their deliberations at the end of the present week, and that their roporb will bo forwarded to tho Premier for presentation to His Excellency in tho course of next week.
