The Mikado is a composite vessel, teak with iron frame, built in 1808 at ltotheihithe, England; sheathed with yellow metal on felt at iaverpool, in 1880; classified A 1 at Lloyds for 12 years from that date as per certificate ; surveyed in November, 18*8, at San Francisco, by J. H. Bruce, and certified in good order, well equipped, fit to carry dry and per-i-liable cargo to any port in the world. Draught, fullv loaded, about 18 feet ; tonnage, 043 tons.
