[BY telegraph.—own correspondents.] Thames, Friday. S harem arret.Cambria, sellers ' 2s 3d, Consols, sellers Is Id ; Dives, sellers Is Id ; Saxon, sellers, 6s. Cambria. —This company's crushing will be completed and the gold banked tomorrow. A fair return is anticipated. Saxon. —A fair start lias now been made on quartz at No. 6 level and in the stopes, and crushing was commenced yesterday afternoon. Alburnia. —A crushing of 90 loads of quartz was completed to-day, for the return of 60oz ldwt melted gold. The bulk of quartz was obtained from Dixon's reef in the slopes above the battery level, the remainder coming from the footwall leader at the Whau level. May Queen. —The breaking down of the No. 4 lode in the western drive above the break is now almost completed, and a start has been made to carry along a short leading stope over tho eastern drive previous to commencing to put in the timber and passes.
SHOTOVER GOLD DREDGING COMPANY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Dcnedin, Friday. At the annual meeting of the Shotover Gold Dredging Company, a discussion took place regarding the going on with tho operations, in view of the danger to the dredge by floods. A motion was carried appointing four shareholders to confer with the directors, to further test the claim, an amendment to wind up being lost. EXPORT OF GOLD. Greymouth, Friday. The National Bank of New Zealand shipped last nighc for Melbourne 205 17dwfc, value £8310. - ■ : r .
