DUNEDIN PROTECTION LEAGUE.
[by telegraph.—frkss association.] Dunedin, Friday. The annual meeting of the Protection Lenpue was held to-night. A suggestion was made that the League should amalgamate with the National Liberal Association. A resolution was passed congratulating thi Premier on the Liberal and progressive policy contained in the Financial btatement, and expressing a hope that he will endeavour to have the anomalies of the Customs tariff remedied during the session. There were only about ten persons present.
