Experienced variable winds and dull weather up to 8 p.m. on the 30th, when a strong N. W. gale, with heavy seas was met with, lasting till passing the Solandcrs, at 9 a.m. to-day. Napier, May 30.The schooner Opotiki, which was stranded during a heavy gale about a fortnight ago on the Petane Beach, was: successfully floated last night without any damage except a slight > injury to her rudder.-y. THE ACCIDENT TO THE OHAU. Wellington, May 30.—The Ohau went on' the slip this morning. It was found she had received very slight damage, only, one plate being dented.
