It is gratifying to learn that Lord Wantage has distributed, as a bonus, to about 100 of his farm labourers, a portion of his profits after paying estimated rent and interest on the capital employed. He has for several seasons treated the* men on the Home Farm in this liberal manner; but this is the first time that, the bonus has been extended to the labourers employed upon the outlying farms. The total acreage off the farm is between 7000 and 8000 acres, and the men to whom the payment has been made are those who have been employed for two years and upwards, and who have been of good conduct.
