The contract steam** Invercargill will leave Invercargill fo Coal Island and Milford Sound, on Thursday, May 7, at noon. The Hiuemoa will leave the Bluff for West Coast Sounds on Monday, May 4. S. H. Biss. Chief Postmaster.

Sydney, per Te Kapo, close at Wellington to-morrow, at 1.20 p.m., and per Jubilee, on Monday, at 11.20 a.m. V For United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, via Rio de Janeiro and Teueriffe, per lonic, close at Wellington to-morrow, at 1 p.m. Ordinary telegrams at noon, and urgents not later than 12.30 p.m. For Australian Colonies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, via Hobart, per Wairarapa, close at the Bluft to-morrow, at 3 p'.m.
