RIFLE MATCH AT PUKEKOHE.
A rifle match between the Newton Rifled and the South Franklin Mounted Infantry took place at the Pukekohe Rifle Range, on Saturday last. The wind was anything but favourable, and the scoring was therefore poor. Lieutenants Durham and Bilkey were in charge of the teams. The match resulted in a win for the Mounted Infantry by 74 points.
