CASES OF INCENDIARISM.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRKSS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington', Monday. Two cases of incendiarism are reported from Palmerston North. In the first case a quantity of paper and half a candle were placed in the manger of a stable attached to Kybant's bakery and set fire to, but discovered and distinguished before any damage was done. At sis o'clock the bridge over the Manawatu river was discovered to be on fire, and a.couple of piles and some other woodwork were destroyed. The police are investigating the matter.
