Press Association.—Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. London, April 10. New Zealand 3£ per cent, inscribed stock is quoted at 97f, not 96f, as previously telegraphed. London, April 11. At the wool sales prices are hardening, especially in merino wools. Three months' bills are discounted at 2b per cent. Ihe withdrawal of £600,000 in gold for Germany and Austria has had the effect of hardening the money market, and it is feared that the bank rate of discount will shortly be raised to 4 per cent. Per New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. London, April 10. Tallow.— of sale. Fine mutton is worth 28s, and good beef 25s 9d per cwfc. New Zealand Hkmp.—Market continues drooping. Medium is worth £22 per ton. Frozen Meat.—Beef is in demand, but mutton is neglected. Mutton market has a downward tendency, and prices have fallen $d per lb. Price of lamb has declined Ad per lb. New Zealand beef, fore quarters, is worth 3£d, and New Zealand beef, hind quarters, is worth 4§d per lb.
