Olive, schooner, at Queen-street Wharf. EXPORTS. Per schooner Koe Bamu: 100 cases beef, 21 cases meats, 10 sacks Hour, 1 cask tar, 120 cases kerosene, 2 bundles oars, timber, and sundries. The Union Co.'s s.s. Ohau arrived late last night from Southern ports. She left Dunedin on the sth, and called at Timaru, Oamaru, Napier, and Gisborne. From Oamaru to Napier heavy seas, with strong S.W. winds, were experienced, and during rest of trip both wind and sea moderated. The New Zealand Shipping Company, which last week despatched the barque Valparaiso to New York with a valuable cargo of gum and flax, has just chartered another vessel to follow her to the same port with similar freighting, and expect a 700-ton barque to arrive here to load from Australia about the end of the present month. On Saturday afternoon the barque Bells, ■ Captain Cotton, sailed out of port with a small freighting of stores, etc., for Howland Island, where she is to load guano under charter to Messrs. J. T. Arundel and Co. When she has completed the discharge of her Wollongong coal at the Sugar Works, the barque Devonport will take up her old outWard loading, namely, timber at Hokianga, via Sydney. At the Customs on Saturday the schooner Jessie Niccol was entered outward for Rarotonga, and she will probably sail for that place with a mixed cargo to-day. The brigantine Oamaru goes hence in a day or so to Mercury Bay, where she is to load with timber for Sydney. The smart new little schooner yacht Koe Bamu, just built by Mr. Niccol at the North Shore for the Tongan chiefs of Vavau, left port on Saturday evening on her initial trip, with a quantity of stores as freight and three passengers. She is bound for Vavau, and went under charge of Captain R. Sopwith. The Sbaw-Saviil steamer Maori having put out all her inward cargo at the Queen-street Wharf was on Saturday evening shifted over -to the Railway Wharf, where she will take in her frozen meat for London. Stie is expected to get away to her other loading porta to-morrow. _ The ship Leading Wind has come out of ,dock after a cleaning, and is now in thorough ■ order to proceed to sea. She will sail this week in ballast for Puget Sound, where she will fill up with timber for an Australian port. She will sail on this her first voyage under the British flag under the command of her new owner, Captain S. B. Savory. The Austrian corvette Saida after completing her provisioning on Saturday left port yesterday forenoon for Valparaiso en route for Trieste. H.M.S. gunboats Goldfinch and Lizard will leave port this week, the former for the Hervey Group and the latter for Sydney. The well-known schooner Olive has been fixed to make another trading cruise amongst the islands of the Tongau Archipelago. The Government steamer Hlnomoa, Captain Fairchild, from New Plymouth, arrived on Saturday. Sho loft again for Wellington at noon yesterday. The Union Co.'s s.s. Takapuna, Captain J. Grant, arrived from Southern ports at midnight on Saturday with cargo and passengers, The Northern Co.'s steamers Gairloch, from New Plymouth, and Glenelg from Wellington, came into port yesterday morning. During her absence, the Glenelg underwent a thorough overhaul on the Wellington slip.
