SPORTING.
SOUTH AUCKLAND RACING CLUB. The autumn meeting of the South Auckland Racing Club, to be held at Hamilton on Saturday next, promises to be one of the most successful and enjoyable of those of the country clubs , this season. The acceptances for the various events have been excellent, a.nd the quality of the fields engaged is a guarantee'of proocl racing. His Excellency Lord Onslow has signified his intention of being present, and numerous other visitors from Auckland are expected to attend. A special train is timed to leave the Auckland station at seven a.m. on Saturday, returning the same day.
