ROBBERY FROM A HOTEL.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PKES9 ASSOCIATION.] Chrihtcuuroh, Wednesday. Last night a cash-box containing £30 was missed from the Junction Hotel, Halswell. Early this morning Detective O'Connor ar rested a respectably connected young man, William Marshall McDowall, on the charge of having committed the robbery. Part of the money was found in his possession, and the cash-box, with the remainder, was discovered buried in his garden. He was brought before the Police Courb, and remanded.
