AUCKLAND ART SOCIETY.
TO THK EDITOR. Sir, — any of the committee explain why Auckland's best artists, Messrs. Steele, Watkius, and, now I hear, Miss Dobson, have severed their connection with the Art Society? It would seem that this Society requires unity and mutual goodwill amongst its officers. Who is at the bottom of all this ? And who are the artists now left on its committee?—l am, &c., A Lover of Art. February 9,1891.
